KUALA LUMPUR: More than 10,000 chickens were killed in a fire that razed a pen close to a palm oil plantation near Lorong Setia 2, Kuang, Saturday morning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue department operations director Mohd Sani Harul said officers were alerted by the public of the blaze around 7.30am and extinguished it about an hour later.
