KUALA LUMPUR: The 500-metre stretch of Jalan Bukit Bintang between Chulan Square and Menara Worldwide will be closed to all traffic beginning Thursday.
The Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), in a statement, said the closure was due to road rectification works following the detection of a depression beneath the pedestrian walkway of Jalan Bukit Bintang.
It said road users were advised to use alternative roads.
MRT Corp Strategic Communications and Public Relations Director Amir Mahmood Razak said the public could rely on details and updates of the situation provided by MRT Corp through its information channels.
For more information the public can visit MRT website at www.mymrt.com.my or www.mymrt-nderground.com.my. – BernamaAlready a subscriber? Log in
