Nurul Izzah divorce case: Hubby appoints reconciliation committee member, June 12 mention date

KUALA LUMPUR: Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar's husband, Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim, has appointed his relative as a member of a reconciliation committee for the couple's ongoing divorce case.

Raja Ahmad Shahrir proposed Mohd Fauzi Mustaffa for the position on Thursday. However, Mohd Fauzi was not in court as he was away in Labuan for unspecified reasons.

The earlier suggested committee member, Raja Ahmad Shahrir's brother, was unable to act on behalf of the defendant because he resides overseas.

On April 1, Nurul Izzah and husband Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar were ordered by the lower Syariah Court here to appoint members for a reconciliation committee over their divorce case.
