Activist Irene Fernandez dies

PETALING JAYA: Human rights activist and Tenaganita director Irene Fernandez (pic) passed away at 10.58am Monday from heart failure.

“She put up a fight, but her heart gave way,” said Fernandez’s younger sister, Aegil.
