SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said he had merely offered himself to contest for PKR's deputy president's post.

He said he had offered himself to contest upon the insistence of some party colleagues who had arranged many meetings with him to convince him to contest.
