Prophet Muhammad’s birthday: States hold processions and religious activities


PETALING JAYA: Muslims in the country celebrated Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad’s birthday) with various religious activities and processions in memory of the deeds and struggles of Prophet Muhammad.

The national-level celebration was held at Putra Mosque in Putrajaya. It started with a procession over 1.7km by more than 13,000 people from Persiaran Perdana to the mosque.
