SHAH ALAM: A 50-year-old primary school headmaster was sentenced to three years in jail and fined RM30,000 after he was found guilty of soliciting and obtaining a RM3,000 bribe involving the school canteen contract.
Sessions Court judge M. Bakri Abd. Majid ruled the defence of Abdul Samad Abdul Ghani was merely a "recent invention" to suit his story that the money was a contribution to the school.
