Cops suspect KK 'shooting spree' work of juveniles, no Sulu links


KOTA KINABALU: Police have ruled out the Kota Kinabalu ‘shooting spree’ was in any way linked to Sulu armed groups or the ongoing Lahad Datu intrusion trial.

The shooting at more than 20 establishments, including hotels and banks between midnight and 1am Saturday, was the work of at least six people in three cars using air guns firing ball bearings, said Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm Jauteh Jikun.
