Security forces continue crackdown on illegal immigrants in Sabah's east-coast


KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian security forces continued their blitz against illegal immigrants in Sabah’s east coast after detaining 20 people during an early Sunday morning operation at Pulau Kalapuan off Semporna.

Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM) director Datuk Mohamad Mantek said the 20 individuals aged between four months and 50 years were held after they were found without any identification documents.
