Man remanded over FB postings


PETALING JAYA: The man who was detained over Facebook postings that allegedly incited people to join the Himpunan Guling Kerajaan (Rally to Topple the Government) on New Year’s Eve has been remanded for five days.

Federal CID deputy director Deputy Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor revealed that the 25-year-old man, whose Facebook name is Asmaelz Hadzeny II, was brought to Kuala Lumpur at about 11am after being detained in Saratok, Sarawak on Thursday.
