MAS cabin crew may stage walkout

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) could see the biggest walkout of its cabin crew after the National Union of Flight Attendants Malaysia (Nufam) announced it would stage a protest against the airline’s suspension of the union’s president Ismail Nasaruddin.

The Nufam Secretariat said union members were expected to vote next week on the decision to hold the walkout, in light of MAS ignoring calls by the union to lift Ismail’s suspension.
