Minimum wage to be enforced from January next year

LABUAN: The implementation of minimum wage of RM900 a month in the Peninsular and RM800 in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will be fully enforced on Jan 1, 2014.

Human Resource Minister Datuk Richard Riot reiterated that the Government had taken into consideration the issues affecting the various sectors in the country before its implementation.
