KOTA KINABALU: Luyang assemblyman Hiew King Cheu, pressured by the DAP to vacate his seat after he resigned from the party, will not be removed from the legislative house over this reason.
The DAP had made the request on the grounds that Hiew, who had contested on the party’s ticket, had made a pledge before the 13th general election that he would step down should he leave the DAP.
