Sago log collector survives croc attack

SARIKEI: A man suffered a broken right leg and deep wounds to both legs after he was attacked by a crocodile while gathering sago logs near here.

Safri Kinai, 26, of Kampung Hilir Tambak in Pusa, was with his brother-in-law Safudin Sulaiman, 36, and three others by the river near the village’s cemetery gathering the harvested logs before floating them downstream to the market.
