SPAD: No compromise with errant lorry drivers


KUALA LUMPUR: The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) will not compromise with lorry drivers who commit offences under the Land Public Transport Act 2010, including overloading.

Its chairman Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar said SPAD viewed seriously the issue of overloading of lorries as this action was highly risky and posed a danger to the lives of other road users.
