IPOH: A PKR division chief has announced that he will stand as an independent candidate for the Tapah parliamentary constituency in the May 5 general election.
Tapah PKR division chief Ridzuan Bani, 49, said he made the choice because party members and supporters were unhappy with the leadership's chosen candidate, K. Vasantha Kumar.
