Former cop jailed for possessing pangolins


ALOR SETAR: A former police constable was jailed a total of 36 months on three counts of possessing 18 pangolins and a charge of committing cruelty to the protected animals.

Muhammad Norazzuan Ahmad Zahari will, however, only serve 12 months as Sessions Court Judge Rosli Osman ordered the jail terms to run concurrently from the date of his arrest on Sept 22.
