JOHOR BARU: Tan Sri Dr Salleh Mohd Nor was more than 3,400m short of reaching the peak of the world's tallest mountain but the 72-year-old Universiti Technology Malaysia pro-chancellor has earned the distinction of being the oldest Malaysian to climb Mount Everest.
The Malaysian High Commission in Kathmandu confirmed his achievement.
