PETALING JAYA: Recognising her dedication to human rights and the rule of law, France has awarded Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan with its highest honour, the Chevalier de Legion d'Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour).
French Ambassador to Malaysia Marc Barety presented the award to the former Bar Council president in a ceremony at his residence on Friday.
