MALACCA: A local trader of kuih keria claims to have a centuries-old secret recipe to the delicacy dating back to the Malacca Sultanate.
The delicacy made from plant nectar, brown sugar (gula melaka) and tapioca was said to have been kept a secret by chefs serving the palace during the period and only made available to common folk about a century ago.
