Former Alcatel Network employee charged with bribery


KUALA LUMPUR: A former Alcatel Network (M) Sdn Bhd regional customer account leader claimed trial Tuesday to bribing a Telekom Malaysia Bhd assisant manager to suppy information over a tender.

Radziah Ani, 49, was charged with giving a bribe in the form of a RM25,000 bank cheque dated Feb 15, 2006 to assistant manager Mohd Asri Idris, 42, as payment to supply information about the tender.
