Khir Toyo's trial postponed to Wedneday, Ditamas director acquitted

SHAH ALAM: A company director accused of abetting former Mentri Besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo in an alleged fraudulent land deal was acquitted and discharged by the High Court here after the prosecution withdrew the charges against him.

However, deputy public prosecutor Abdul Wahab Mohamad, who said Monday that the case against Dr Mohd Khir remained, did not reveal why the charge against Ditamas Sdn Bhd director Shamsuddin Hayroni was dropped.
