KUALA LUMPUR: 50 top scorers have received a Merdeka Day gift of academic awards totalling RM2.25mil from the Government.
MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said the recipients who were from the Chinese Independent Schools nationwide had excelled in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) which is equivalent to the STPM.
