Labuan firm set to lose exclusive ferry rights


KOTA KINABALU: The state government will terminate the exclusive rights of a Labuan company to operate a roll-on roll-off vehicle and passenger ferry service between the island and Sabah mainland from this month.

The decision was made after a briefing by the state Infrastructure Development Ministry on the service being offered by the Labuan Ferry Corporation for the last 20 years, said Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman.
