‘Silat sendeng’ is now the official martial arts of Johor, says Abdul Ghani


TANGKAK: Johor has adopted silat sendeng as its official martial arts in a move to promote self-defence, discipline and healthy living among the people.

Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said silat sendeng, like the zapin dance and ghazal music, originated from Johor and deserved to be the state’s official martial arts.
