Rare batik python caught in village


KOTA BARU: A rare four-metre long batik python (reticulated python) was caught by Civil Defence personnel at Kampung Becah Keranji, Pasir Putih, and released back into the wild.

Civil Defence officer Lt Muda Rosli Abdul said the villagers alerted the unit after the 40kg snake caused a panic in the village on Monday night.
