Eric Chia’s suit to be mentioned on April 14

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has fixed April 14 for a remention of the defamation suit brought by the late Tan Sri Eric Chia against DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.

Justice Datuk Abdul Wahab Patail set the date here yesterday to hear from the plaintiff’s lawyer whether the suit would proceed since Chia, the former Perwaja Terengganu Sdn Bhd managing director, died on June 24 last year.
