ALOR GAJAH: The Health Ministry has recalled and destroyed all biscuits which were recently found to contain melamine tainted-ammonium bicarbonate imported from three companies in China.

Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said the biscuits had been pulled off the shelves and destroyed. “Action has been carried out in several states where biscuits were found to have contained the tainted ammonium bicarbonate,” he told reporters after visiting Julie’s biscuit manufacturing plant here yesterday.
