PETALING JAYA: The request by some government doctors that their on-call allowance be increased is reasonable and the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) will be submitting a proposal to the Health Ministry on the matter.
The association’s Section Concerning House Officers, Medical Officers and Specialists national chairman, Dr Mastura Ismail, said the proposal put forward early this year wants the rates revised according to several categories.
