American submarine creates naval history in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: USS Pasadena became the first American submarine to dock in Sabah yesterday. 

The nuclear-powered submarine docked at the Sepanggar Bay container port here and soon after, Commander Douglas Perry pinned a “dolphins” insignia on Sean Elsasser, a reactor technician from Stafford, Virginia, in a brief ceremony.
