MALACCA: His demeanour was not loud or aggressive like some political leaders, but with a steady, unwavering tone, Datuk K.S. Nallakarupan grabbed the crowd’s attention like a veteran politician.
Nallakarupan, 60, who joined Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) in August last year, was one of the five speakers to talk to the 100-odd people at a DAP ceramah in Tebong here on Saturday night. Nalla, who was speaking for the first time at a DAP ceramah, was clearly the highlight of the night and it was not because of the colourful blinking PKR lapel pin on his shirt, which he said was presented to him by his good friend Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
