Hafiz is best at knowing what women want

PETALING JAYA: Hairstylist Hafiz Adnan beat Charles Brunold to emerge winner of 8TV’s popular reality TV show What Women Want (WWW). After months of battling to know what exactly women want, the 25-year-old has won the hearts of female jurors and celebrity judges.

Hafiz walked away with RM15,000 cash, a Swiss Union diamond Technomarine watch, a Gulf Air return ticket to London for two, a five-day stay at Berjaya Eden Park Hotel in London, a Samsung LCD 40in TV and a home theatre system. Brunold took home a Technomarine diamond watch and a Honda Wave-S motorbike.

Exuberant winner: Hafiz giving the thumbs up sign in front of the LCD TV set which was one of the prizeshe won after emerging winner of the ‘What Women Want’ reality TV show in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

“I can’t believe my luck! This is my first attempt at a reality TV contest and I can’t believe I’ve won the grand prize. Although fun, being a finalist in the contest was challenging because I had to compete against other finalists who seemed intimidating,” said the exuberant winner.

WWW is a 12-parter reality show in search to answer the long-standing question. Thirteen pre-selected contenders were put through weeks of tasks to bring out their best abilities in pleasing a woman. They were judged based on their manners, characters and abilities to perform various tasks.

Each week, three jurors – Nadia Shareef Ang, Nivi Nagapan and Marina Suwendy – together with guest judges including Aishah Sinclair, eliminated a contestant.

The grand finale, held at The Bed in Kuala Lumpur, was aired on 8TV last night at 10.30pm. Model-singer Hannah Tan hosted the show.
