TELUK INTAN: The opening of dedicated Sessions Courts at immigration depots in the country has doubled the number of cases disposed of.
“Before this, our cases were heard along with all kinds of others at the courts,” Immigration Department enforcement director Datuk Ishak Mohamed said yesterday after opening the sixth such court at the Langkap Immigration Detention Depot, about 26km from here.
