PETALING JAYA: Con artists behind the Nigerian lottery scam are giving a new spin to their old e-mail tricks. They are now riding piggyback on South Africa's success in hosting the 2010 World Cup.
E-mails are sent out to recipients, telling them they have been chosen as the jackpot winner of an Internet raffle draw held on Oct 24 that carried a US$2.5mil (RM9.2mil) payout.
