KUALA LUMPUR: As part of its anti-corruption education plan, the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) plans to set up a drama production unit to produce advertising materials and docudramas.

ACA director-general Datuk Seri Zulkipli Mat Noor said the agency would be getting technical cooperation from Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) to set up the unit.

“A working paper on job positions has already been presented to the Public Services Department. With its in-house production unit, the ACA will be able to produce more educational programmes towards the prevention of corruption,” he said at the launch of the drama Badai Pesona Ringgit yesterday.

Deputy Information Minister Chia Kwang Chye launched the drama.

Badai Pesona Ringgit is a 13-episode serial based on cases investigated by the agency and has been produced by ACA with MDAG Marketing Sdn Bhd.

The drama would be shown over TV1 at 2pm beginning next Monday. – Bernama
