Sumo-Lah to hit local cinemas in December


KUALA LUMPUR: Actor-director Afdlin Shauki has set his sights on taking his upcoming film Sumo-Lah international. 

The film – which he will star in as well as direct – features local and Asian actors such as Singapore’s Gurmit Singh of Phua Chu Kang fame and Thailand’s Inthira Charoenpura, whose films include Brokedown Palace and Nang Nak, and incorporates elements of Japanese and Malaysian culture.
