PETALING JAYA: A glimpse of how former Sabah chief minister Datuk Seri Osu Sukam ran up his huge gambling debts came from an affidavit filed against him by the Ritz Hotel Casino at the London High Court in May 2003.
The former Umno supreme council member, who recently resigned as the party's Papar division chief, had gambled away a total of £23.49mil (RM156.45mil) and lost £4.68mil (RM31.17mil) at the casino in just seven months, from February to September 2002.
