A TECHNICAL point sparked a heated debate in the Dewan when a provision under the National Anti-Drugs Agency Bill was described as an “insult” to Parliament.
Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (BN – Santubong) argued that Section 8 of the bill, which recommended that negligence among police officers be treated as a criminal offence, was related to matters under study by a Parliament Select Committee.
