Kwong Wah’s longest serving employee dies

PENANG: The normal retirement age may be 55 years but for Lau Hong Chong, he enjoyed his work at Kwong Wah Yit Poh Chinese daily so much that he continued serving the company until in his late 80s. 

Lau, who passed away at the grand old age of 94 in Singapore on Wednesday, worked with the daily for 65 years until he retired in 1999 at age 89.
