PETALING JAYA: An Indonesian daily reported that the family of abused maid Nirmala Bonat has asked the Indonesian government to facilitate her return to her village in Desa Tuapakas, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan, Nusa Tenggara Timur.
In the online version of Suara Pembaruan Daily, Nirmala's uncle Daniel Bire said he had only learned of her condition when he was contacted by journalists.
