MALACCA: Messages from around the country were received by the Malacca police text and pictorial messaging hotline, with tip-offs on prostitution, illegal VCDs and other activities within and outside the state.
State police chief Senior Asst Comm I Datuk Christopher Wan said police had conducted successful raids against illegal VCD peddlers based on the tip-offs.
