‘Dictionary cannot list every word’

PETALING JAYA: Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), which publishes the Kamus Dewan, said the public cannot expect every word to be listed in the dictionary. 

DBP director-general Datuk A. Aziz Deraman said words like “Kadazan” and “Iban”, referring to the major ethnic groups in Sabah and Sarawak, were also left out.
