THE Education Ministry’s crackdown on teachers giving lessons without a permit at primary and secondary private institutions was given wide coverage by Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian yesterday.
The papers quoted Private Education Department enforcement director Dr Ariff Kassim saying that teachers caught working without a permit at tuition centres would be fined RM5,000.
