900 illegal workers held

TAIPING: About 900 illegal foreign workers have been rounded up in the Klang Valley since Tuesday, marking the start of a nationwide joint operation involving the police and the Immigration Department to nab such offenders. 

Federal Internal Security and Public Order deputy director (I) Datuk Arthur Edmonds said that those detained either had no work permits or held expired permits.
