TAMIL NESAN reported that oil palm plantation owner S. Kaliappan discovered pineapple-like fruits from two oil palm trees in his plantation near Air Tawar in Sitiawan, Perak.
He said the fruits were from trees that were replanted about four years ago, adding that people from nearby areas were coming to see the strange fruits after newspapers reported on the find.
