PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry has instructed the relevant authorities to look into the viability of placing Infrared Fever Screening Systems at international airports nationwide to detect cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coming into the country.
Its parliamentary secretary Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai said the ministry would confer with Health Ministry officials and health experts on the machines' efficacy.
