THE time has finally come for former Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte to face justice at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague for his central role in the extrajudicial killings of thousands of suspected drug dealers and criminals in his country.
The ICC is responsible for investigating and, where warranted, trying people charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community, such as genocide and war crimes.
