THREE things all ex-offenders need:
Security: This is met by love: When they feel loved, they will feel secure and this is a good basis to help them start over.
Significance: This is met by purpose: Everyone needs a sense of their role, who they are and to discover their capabilities. When ex-offenders are accepted and loved by their family, they can move on to discover their purpose and receive a sense of significance.
For those who have children, it will give them a reason to get a job and provide.
Strength: This is met by hope: When reconciled with their family, it gives the ex-offender hope to make amends and the opportunity to undo what they have done and prove to their family and themselves that they can change. Hope will propel them further in their journey of change.
