THE National Science Challenge 2017 (NSC 2017) has opened its registration to all Form Four students nationwide.

Organised by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), the science competition aims to provide a platform for these students to shine.

ASM said in statement, that teams which make it to the semi-finals would face a series of activities that will challenge them to use Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as a basis to come up with solutions to global problems.

The champions of the National Science Challenge will receive the Prime Minister's Challenge Trophy and get a chance to witness the prestigious Nobel Prize Awards ceremony and Nobel Lectures during a week-long study visit to Stockholm, Sweden.

ASM said the second, third and fourth-placed teams would get to attend the Sakura Science Exchange Programme for one week in Tokyo, Japan.

NSC 2017 will kick off its preliminary level on May 8. All schools should register their teams before April 30 at — Bernama
