Inspiring students with green causes


Year Four pupils (from left) Nurin Batrisyia Mohamad Raziq, Laila Qishtina Sabudin and Anis Natalia Irish Norazalan from SK Alor Gajah 1 won the first prize in the Plastics Collage Competition.

A group of 10-year-old pupils from SK Alor Gajah 1 impressed judges with collages made completely out of plastic waste in a competition to showcase the usage of plastics as part of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).

They received their prize at the MPMA-Dow School Environmental Challenge 2016 award ceremony.
